Lil Wayne Hospitalized for Seizures

Mega-selling rapper Lil Wayne was admitted to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai hospital Tuesday night — and released on Wednesday morning, TMZ reports. Later that day, Wayne tweeted to his followers, "I'm fine. Thank u."

Wayne, 30, previously revealed that he's epilectic, which is why he suffers from occasional seizures.

The rapper, who is scheduled to start two months of tour dates in July, spent six days in March at Cedars, reportedly in intensive care. He has been hospitalized several times with seizures.

Wayne said recently in an interview, "The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That's just typical me, though."
