Lil Wayne is "recovering" after suffering another seizure, his Young Money publicist confirmed late Friday.

"I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love," the rapper (real name: Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.) tweeted minutes later.

The update comes a few hours after TMZ reported that Wayne was in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and that the hospital was preparing to read him his last rites. The site also reported that his mother was en route to Los Angeles to decide whether to take her son off of life support. The report also alleged that Wayne had to be placed in restraints when he was rushed back to the hospital because he was shaking uncontrollably and that he been placed in an induced coma and was breathing through tubes.

However, after Wayne's longtime friend and Young Money Entertainment co-founder Mack Maine tweeted that Wayne was "alive and well," TMZ removed parts of their report about the severity of his condition. "We['re] watching the Syracuse game...thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon," Maine tweeted. "We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false!!"

Maine also criticized TMZ specifically for their earlier report. "It's certain sh-- you should not talk about or play with if u don't kno what u talking bout....don't deceive the fans or the people," he tweeted, "and definitely don't try to kill a man before his time....so from the bottom of my soul and on behalf of my fam......F--- YOU."

The news comes one day after TMZ reported that Lil Wayne had been hospitalized late Tuesday and released early Wednesday after he suffered multiple seizures. However, Wayne was found on the floor of his hotel room unconscious by one of his bodyguards hours later. Prior to Tuesday, he had been hospitalized for seizures back in October.
