"I'm beyond happy!" McIntyre told the magazine. "I saw true love as a child and dreamt that one day I'd have the same. Today is the first day knowing that I'll have that forever."
McIntyre, 31, and Hassan, 28, wed in the historic St John's Anglican Church in front of 120 guests. A reception followed at the Rippon Lea Estate, which was decorated with pastel roses, vintage books and hanging antique style jars with tea lights and flowers.
"Liam and I have always both been inspired by the elegance of the 20s, the beautiful movies of the 30s and 40s," Hassan told People. "Touches of vintage charm of the time period and our mutual love of Disney and the fairytales were featured throughout the wedding and reception."
The pair has been dating since 2010. They got engaged at Disney World in December 2012 when the actor dressed up as Prince Charming and fitted Hassan with a Disney princess gown and then got down on one knee.
McIntyre joined the Starz drama in the title role in Season 2 after original star Andy Whitfield withdrew when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He passed away in 2011. Spartacus wrapped last year after three seasons. McIntyre can next be seen on screen in The Legend of Hercules, out on Jan. 10.
