The Star Trek actor was taken to UCLA Medical Center after someone called 911, according to the report.

Nimoy, 83, revealed last year that he was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which he blames on smoking (despite the fact that he quit cigarettes in the 1980s). He's been hospitalized several times in recent months.

According to theLos Angeles Times, Nimoy's rep declined to comment on the actor's health.
