Lambesis, 32, was busted as part of a sting operation after he solicited an undercover detective to kill his wife, Meggan Lambesis. Meggan filed for divorce in September 2012.
Lambesis was charged with three federal accounts: soliciting another person to commit murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime. He will be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
