Laurence Fishburne Joins Hannibal

Laurence Fishburne is heading back to the small screen.
The former CSI star has been cast on NBC's upcoming Hannibal Lecter thriller Hannibal, TVGuide.com has confirmed. He will play FBI special agent Jack Crawford, the boss of Hugh Dancy's Will Graham, the criminal profiler who's tracking a serial killer with the help of Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen).
NBC Casts Bond Baddie as Hannibal Lecter for Upcoming Series
The series is a bit of a reimagining of Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon, the prequel to The Silence of the Lambs.
Hannibal will premiere as a midseason replacement on NBC.
