Laura Bell Bundy Heads to Hart of Dixie

There's a new Dixie chick in town.
Broadway star and country singer Laura Bell Bundy will appear in at least two episodes of Hart of Dixie, the Huffington Post reports.
Bundy will play Shelby, a potential love interest for Scott Porter's character, George. Shelby will first be introduced in the third episode of the second season, which airs Oct. 16. Her presence will likely only increase the sexual tension between George and Zoe (Rachel Bilson). Which girl will win his heart?
Bundy's Broadway resume includes playing Elle Woods in Legally Blonde: The Musical. She has also guest-starred on How I Met Your Mother and Modern Family, and recurred as Marah Lewis on Guiding Light.
Hart of Dixie kicks off Season 2 on Oct. 2 at 8/7c.
