Lady Gaga stepped behind the camera to direct her latest music video, which features a medley of songs off of ARTPOP including "Venus" and "G.U.Y." — and the result is just as bizarre as you might expect.
The nearly 12-minute clip — Gaga's longest music video to date — opens with the singer donning wings like a giant avian-human hybrid of sorts. She struggles to get up after being felled by an arrow through the chest and then gets baptized (or buried?) in a pool at Hearst Castle in California, as a band featuring stars of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills plays stiffly in the background. (We're not making this up.)
Then, as the short film transitions from "Venus" to "G.U.Y.," we get a little bit of choreographed dancing — as well as cameos from Michael Jackson and Jesus.
