Right now, Kristin Davis and her Sex and the City costars are in the midst of shooting the final season. Is Charlotte's portrayer glad the HBO hit comedy is wrapping up? Or would she prefer to keep vampin' it up with Carrie, Samantha and Miranda for years to come?

"I'm going to be a bad girl, and I'm going to say I really feel like we should keep going," Davis told reporters at the Television Critics Assoc. press tour in Hollywood. "It's really hard for me to be ending. I intellectually understand, but it's so hard because it's so rare that you get a situation like this, and a group of people who really love to work together in this way.

"We're not finished yet, so I haven't totally had to deal with it," she continues. "But we've already had some tearful days. You know, we're trying to kind of hold ourselves together, but it's really hard. It's like family, and it's very intense, and I don't know how I'm going to get through the end, really."

What's next for Davis? Sex made a star of the actress, who'd only done a season of Melrose Place — and little else of note — before her big break.

"Well, we're not done shooting the show yet, so I haven't quite gotten my future figured out," she says. "There are other exciting things to do." Come April, she'll costar with Matthew Modine in TNT's baseball fantasy film, The Winning Season. Davis plays the fiancée of a ballplayer, circa 1909. "It was the most high-maintenance hairdo and outfit that I've ever had," she laughs. "I get dressed in 10 minutes at Sex and the City!"
