Kristin Cavallari's Brother Found Dead After Nearly Two Weeks Missing

Almost two weeks after going missing, Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael has been found dead.

"We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time," she said in a statement to People. "We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving."

The Hills actress also posted a tribute to her brother on Instagram, with a photo of the two as toddlers. "My heart is in a million pieces," she wrote. "You had such a good heart and will be forever missed...I love u so much RIP"

Police in Utah have been looking for Michael, 30, since Nov. 27, when his car was found abandoned in a ditch off of Interstate 70 . Prior to his disappearance, Michael was briefly held in an Orange County jail.
