Loken, who plays a junior field producer in the hour-long drama, tells TV Guide Online that she ventured out with a real news crew to get the inside scoop on being a broadcast journalist. "I went with a reporter and a field producer from KNBC-TV for the day and I saw how things were run inside the newsroom and in the field. I pretty much got a taste of all of it. It was the cliché [of] getting the story in at the last minute, editing it and then flying... I mean, literally, [the reporter's] hair was still moving as she came [on camera to do] the news. Loken, who has had recurring roles on Unhappily Ever After and Pensacola: Wings of Gold, is ready to take Hollywood by storm. "I'm interested in all aspects of the art and the business itself. I would love to direct someday for sure. I would love to do theater as well if the opportunity comes my way; the same with film. I'm open to anything, really."
