Kris Jenner to Preview New Talk Show This Summer

The Kardashian empire is expanding... again.

"Momager" Kris Jenner will launch her own talk show in select cities this coming summer, Twentieth Television announced Monday.

Kris will be a one-hour talk show covering fashion and beauty trends, as well as a mix of lifestyle topics, in addition to celebrity guests. The show will be filmed in Los Angeles and air as a preview this coming summer on Fox stations in areas like Los Angeles and New York City.

"The latest adventures, successes and disappointments surrounding the extensive Kardashian and Jenner family fill entertainment magazines and create daily online headlines. At the center of this fascinating empire is Kris Jenner — a dedicated mom and a successful business woman," Twentieth Television's EVP of development and programming, Stephen Brown, said in a statement. "Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted — all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host."

This summer preview is similar to the model reality star-turned-entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel used for her talk show. Bethennyaired for six weeks in certain cities last summer, where it demonstrated solid ratings and earned a full pick-up to return sometime this year, when it will launch nationwide.

"This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it's definitely a dream come true," said Jenner, who will also serve as an executive producer on Kris. "I can't wait for this new adventure to begin and look forward to working alongside Twentieth Television and the Fox Television Stations."

Aside from her role on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and her many appearances on its various spin-offs, Jenner has appeared as a guest host on daytime talk shows such as The Talk.
