Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Announce Reconciliation, Divorce to Be Dismissed

Don't count this couple out just yet! Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa announced that they are back together.

"We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed," Vanessa posted on her Instagram page. "We are looking forward to our future together."

Kobe shared the happy news on his Facebook page as well. "I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family," Kobe wrote Friday. "When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!"

The Los Angeles Laker, who has won five NBA championships with the team, first started dating Vanessa in 1999. The couple became engaged in May 2000 and married in April 2001. Their relationship came under scrutiny in 2003, when he admitted to having cheated on his wife with a 19-year-old hotel employee who accused him of sexual abuse. The case was later dropped.

Vanessa, 30, filed for divorce from Kobe, 34, in 2011, citing irreconcilable differences. They have two daughters together: Natalia, 9, and Gianna, 6.
