It's probably not a good idea to hurt a psychopath's feelings but that's exactly what Eve (Sandra Oh) does when she calls Villanelle (Jodie Comer) one in the exciting first look at the spy-action thriller, Killing Eve.

The series, which is based on the novellas by Luke Jennings, centers on a brilliant Mi5 security officer (Oh) and her complicated relationship with a professional killer (Comer) who revels in the perks that come with the job. Both women grow increasingly obsessed with each other as they engage in an epic game of cat and mouse.

"You should never tell a psychopath you're a psychopath," Villanelle warns in the teaser. "It upsets them." Given that Villanelle has no qualms about murdering people as seen in the preview, you don't want to get on her bad side.

Alongside Oh and Comer, the show also stars Harry Potter alum Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens, Penny Dreadful actor David Haig as Eve's colleague Bill and The Bridge's Kim Bodnia as Konstantin.

The game is on when Killing Eve premieres Sunday, April 8 at 8/7c on BBC America.
