Khloe Kardashian has denied cutting an interview short on Australian television.

While appearing via satellite on the morning show Sunrise, Kardashian was asked about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North West. The feed immediately dropped, leading the Sunrise producers to think it was a technical glitch. But, sources in the Los Angeles studio where Kardashian was doing the interview allegedly told them her team instructed the crew to pull the plug.

Celebrities who have survived scandal

"What happened with Khloe Kardashian on the show is a good lesson for publicists everywhere," Sunrise executive producer Michael Pell said in an article posted on the morning show's website. "Don't try to censor natural conversation. You would think coming on to promote a range of clothes that includes a baby line, it would be fair enough to ask about the inspiration."

But Kardashian denied those reports on Twitter, calling Sunrise desperate. "Why would I cut an interview short because of North?" she tweeted. "Get over yourself Sunrise... The call dropped... stop reaching for a story."

Pell claimed it was someone on Kardashian's team who cut things short. "When you watch the interview you see Khloe had no problem with the questions. It's obvious someone on her team did, and pulled the plug," he said. "Khloe shouldn't declare war on us, she should declare war on her own publicists."

Sunrise claims a local rep for Kardashian later apologized.
