Kevin James has been flipping through his Rolodex to get some synergy going with his Hollywood friends.

James' CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait will be getting a visit from Billy Madison himself, reports Variety. Adam Sandler will guest star on the Nov. 7 episode, playing Kevin's (James) old police partner, and when Kevin finds out that Sandler's character is enjoying his job more with his new, younger, more fit partner, Kevin gets struck with jealousy.

TV ratings survival guide: How the new shows are doing

Sandler and James are practically a package deal in movies, having co-starred in many big-screen comedies including I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Don't Mess with the Zohan, and the Grown Ups films. Sandler also produced James' big films, including the Paul Blart: Mall Cop films and Here Comes the Boom.

This won't be the first time Sandler and James have buddied up on television, either. Sandler made a guest appearance on James' star-making vehicle The King of Queens back in 2007. Sandler of course got his big break on Saturday Night Live.

Earlier this season, James' other pal Ray Romano paid a visit to Kevin Can Wait.

Kevin Can Wait airs Monday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
