Cable staple Kenny Johnson will dip into network TV for a role on NBC's take on the U.K.'s Prime Suspect, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Johnson, known for his work on FX's The Shield, TNT's Saving Grace, and FX's Sons of Anarchy, will play the boyfriend of Maria Bello's character. Aidan Quinn will also appear on the show.
Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter noted on Twitter that Johnson will still appear in four episodes of the show's upcoming fourth season.
Prime Suspect is scheduled to premiere Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10/9c on NBC.
