Katy Perry: I Used to Hate My "Enormous Boobs"

Katy Perry isn't shy about showing off her feminine physique (just ask Sesame Street), but the pop star says she used to hate her breasts.

"I'm generally around 130 pounds, which is totally fine for me. But when I was a kid, I was the same height and weighed more like 145. And I had enormous boobs that I didn't know what to do with, so I wore minimizers, which were not cute," Perry tells Elle. "Those thick-ass straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder-holder ... and all I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know ... that these things would come in handy someday."

The one-time Christian rocker has no qualms about her provocative style, either. "I'm a sexy girl, so what? I never claimed I was a nun!" she says.

Katy Perry video pulled from Sesame Street

Perry, who guest-starred this week on How I Met You Mother, was pulled from a episode of Seasame Street in September because the show's production company felt her music video featured too much of the singer's cleavage. The clip featured Perry in a low-cut dress singing to Elmo about playing dress-up. The singer has since lampooned the Sesame controversy during an appearance on The Simpsons and in a Saturday Night Livesketch.
