The 33-year-old actress will star in the dark comedy, Dead Accounts, opening this fall on the Great White Way, People reports.

In the new show, Holmes will play Lorna, a woman searching for answers about her brother's shocking return home. The show, directed by Jack O'Brien, will open at the Music Box Theatre.

Holmes made her Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of All My Sons, co-starring John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. She recently moved into a new New York apartment with  daughter with Tom Cruise, Suri, days after she filed for divorce from the actor on June 29.
