"[Mother of the bride Victoria Gifford Kennedy] didn't know if he was coming or not," Gifford said. "She heard that he might be, but he got in touch with her an hour earlier, and said, basically, 'Can I bring my girlfriend?' She said very nicely, 'Please do not come.' Guess what? They came."
Gifford, who is Victoria Gifford Kennedy's stepmother, said Kennedy was unhappy the couple crashed the wedding.Gifford said the couple was asked to leave twice before Swift's boyfriend eventually led them out.
While both Gifford and her stepdaughter stand by their accounts of the event, Swift's rep has insisted the singer was, indeed, invited.
