VIDEO: Karl Rove Questions Fox News' Decision to Call Election for Obama

Karl Rove

Even after Fox News called the presidential election for Barack Obama, one man was still holding out for a Mitt Romney win. Karl Rove didn't hesitate to butt heads with the network on camera, rejecting Obama's projected win of Ohio and thus the election.

From Big Bird to Ann Coulter: Check out the 2012 election's hall of fame (and shame)

"I think this is premature," Rove explained, after 74 percent of the vote had been tallied.  According to the Fox News analyst, a large portion of votes from rural areas hadn't yet been tallied and could result in a Romney victory.

Given Rove's history, his caution when it comes to early calls is understandable. He served as an advisor to George W. Bush, who won the 2000 election after Al Gore's premature "win" of Florida was contested and overturned.

Barack Obama re-elected as President of the United States

None of Fox News' other analysts or anchors appeared to agree with Rove, making for quite an awkward showdown. Watch the video below:
