Kanye West "cracked" and eventually "lost it completely" toward the end of his Saturday-night concert in Paris, as he attempted to dedicate "Hey Mama" to his mother Donda, who died suddenly and tragically barely a week ago. "He... had just started to dedicate the song and then he just lost it completely, crying onstage for five minutes," a concertgoer tells People.

After backup singers and musicians (and the encouraging cheers of the sold-out crowd) sought to console him, West took another try at the song but could not finish. Ultimately, says People, he concluded the concert with a performance of "Stronger."
