Charges against Kanye West stemming from a Sept. 2008 altercation between the rapper and two photographers have been dropped, TMZ reports.

West's lawyer, Blair Berk, presented proof Friday showing that West, 32, had completed 50 hours of community service with the Red Cross. Both West and his manager, Don Crowley, were charged with vandalism, battery and grand theft after destroying two photographers' camera equipment at LAX International Airport.

In October, a judge agreed to dismiss the case if West and Crowley provided proof that they had each served 50 hours of community service. Both men have also agreed to take an anger management class, according to the news site.

Calls to Berk were not immediately returned. West is up for six Grammy Awards Sunday.
