Justin Timberlake to Perform at MTV VMAs

Justin Timberlake has been added to the growing list of performers who will perform at MTV's Video Music Awards later this month. Timberlake will also receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which was last awarded to Britney Spears in 2011, MTV announced Thursday.

Justin Timberlake has been added to the growing list of performers who will perform at MTV's Video Music Awards later this month. Timberlake will also receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which was last awarded to Britney Spears in 2011, MTV announced Thursday.

The singer is tied with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for the most VMA nominations this year with six, including Video of the Year for "Mirrors."

Other previously-announced performers include Kanye WestKaty PerryMiley CyrusRobin Thicke and Lady Gaga, who will perform her new single "Applause."

The MTV VMA's will be broadcast live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Will you tune in?
