Bieber was arrested shortly after 4 a.m. Thursday on charges of driving under the influence and drag racing. His friend, rapper Khalil, was also arrested after the two were stopped while racing Lamborghinis in a residential neighborhood.
The arresting officer said Bieber, 19, had bloodshot eyes and reeked of alcohol when he was pulled over. He was taken to the police station and given a Breathalyzer test and a drug evaluation, according to the police report, the results of which have not yet been released.
The singer, who is being represented by attorney Roy Black, appeared via video before a judge Thursday afternoon and bail was set at $2500.
