Justin Bieber Gets Probation, Anger Management in Egging Case

After pleading no contest Wednesday to charges of vandalism for throwing eggs at his neighbor's house, Justin Bieber was fined and put on two years' probation, during which time he must attend anger management classes, CNN reports. The singer must also pay the neighbor $80,900 and stay 100 yards away from the victim's family.

The singer must also pay the neighbor $80,900 and stay 100 yards away from the victim's family.

Bieber's probation will be supervised until he completes 12 weeks of anger management sessions as well as five days of community labor, according to CNN. He must inform his probation officer if he plans to leave the country.

Though a sheriff's investigator had previously recommended that Bieber, 20, be charged with a felony for the incident, which caused "incredible" damage to the neighbor's house, he was charged with a misdemeanor. Bieber, who has since moved from the neighborhood after selling the house to Khloe Kardashian, was not in court for the sentencing.
