Oscar nominee Juliette Lewis will star opposite Ryan Phillippe in ABC's new drama series Secrets & Lies, TVLine.com reports.
The project centers on a family man (Phillippe) who finds the body of a young boy and soon becomes the prime murder suspect. He has no choice but to try to track down the real killer since his marriage, his kids, his reputation and his sanity are at stake.

Lewis, 40, will play Detective Cornell in the series, written by Barbie Kligman (Private Practice). Kligman will executive-produce with Charles McDougall (Desperate Housewives), who will also direct the pilot.
Nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role in Cape Fear, Lewis is also known for her roles in Natural Born Killers and, most recently, August: Osage County. Her small screen credits include the short-lived The Firm and the upcoming summer series Wayward Pines.
ABC ordered 10 episodes of Secrets & Lies, an adaptation of an Australian series, back in October.
