Despite mixed reviews, there is talk that Julia Roberts may be tempted to court the Tonys and vice versa for her performance in the just-premiered Three Days of Rain. "It is inconceivable that the nominators are going to ignore the biggest female star in the world," one insider tells the New York Post. "You're not going to put Julia Roberts on the Tony Awards? You're going to put [Seascape's Frances] Sternhagen [Roberts' likely rival, and for a fifth nod] instead?" Another expert, though, says nominators "aren't always susceptible to star power," and one producer says the Pretty Woman would be "foolish" to "chase a nomination."
