Famed psychologist, TV personality and columnist Joyce Brothers has died, according to The Associated Press. She was 85.

Brothers died Monday in New York City. No cause of death has yet been revealed.

Brothers' celebrity status first took off in 1955 after she won The $64,000 Questiongame show in the boxing category, which led to a gig as a boxing commentator. In 1958, she was given a TV show in New York, where she doled out advice. She continued with a number of other  TV shows, including Consult Dr. Brothersand Living Easy with Dr. Joyce Brothers.

Brothers also wrote a monthly column for Good Housekeeping for nearly 40 years and published several bestselling books, including What Every Woman Should Know About Men.

In addition to appearing on different celebrity game shows like Hollywood Squares and The Gong Show, she also made numerous guest spots on TV shows, including Married... with Children, Felicityand The Love Boat.
