It seemed inevitable, given both Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum's jaw-droppingly awesome turns doing Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" and Beyoncé's "Run the World" Lip Sync Battle, but the Hollywood homies are taking their musical mastery to the next level with a film.
The Hollywood Reporter says JGL and Tatum will star in a new, untitled R-rated musical about two pilots on a misadventure. While the producer of Broadway's Wicked, Marc Platt, will be part of the film, it's not like the real-life buddies need a lot of help in the music department: Tatum knows his way around the dance floor as evidenced in his Magic Mike and Step Up turns, while JGL's karaoke turn in 500 Days of Summer is only a peek at his lengthy crooner CV.
Really the only question is: Will they be shirtless or no?
