Jane Fonda to call shots on Aaron Sorkin's new HBO series
As previously announced, Jeff Daniels will play an anchor at the network, while Sam Waterston will head up the newsroom staff that includes Alison Pill, John Gallagher, Jr., Olivia Munn, Dev Patel and Thomas Sadoski. Oscar winner Jane Fonda was recently announced to play Leona Lansing, the network's parent company CEO who's more concerned with the business aspects than the reporting side.
Tenney played Fritz Howard, the husband of Kyra Sedgwick's character on TNT's The Closer, and a love interest for Sally Field's character on Brothers & Sisters.
