Hamm, 44, checked himself into Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn., in late February. Hamm had already wrapped filming on the final episodes of Mad Men last June.
"With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction," his rep told the site. "They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward."
In addition to the final run of Mad Men, which kicks off on April 5, Hamm appears on the Netflix comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
