A Florida man has been charged with hacking into the e-mail accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and Mila Kunis, among others, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

Christopher Chaney hacked into Google, Apple and Yahoo e-mail accounts beginning last November and December and hijacked the forwarding feature so that every e-mail sent was also forwarded to an e-mail account he controlled, according to an indictment from a federal grand jury in Los Angeles.

The indictment alleges Chaney hacked into the accounts of more than 50 people.

Chaney offered select material, including photographs, to celebrity blog sites, some of which were eventually posted, according to a statement from the FBI. (Nude pictures of Johansson appeared on the Internet earlier this year, and TMZ reported that the hackers stole them from her cell phone.)

The FBI, which dubbed the investigation "Operation Hackerazzi" had been working on the case for a year. Chaney is charged with 25 counts of identity theft, unauthorized access and unauthorized damage to a protected computer.
