Joel Madden was reportedly kicked out of his hotel in Sydney on Sunday after staff found marijuana in his room, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
No charges were filed against the Good Charlotte singer, who addressed the situation on social media. "Sunday while I was at work, a hotel employee found a small amount of marijuana in my hotel room. The police were called and responded," he wrote on his Tumblr account, which he tweeted a link to. "Sydney is my adopted home and I appreciate the way the NSW police handled the situation. They have informed me there will be no charges. I hope this didn't cause too much drama for anyone."

Madden, who works as a coach on Australia's The Voice, was present when police searched his room, according to the paper. He was then asked to leave the hotel because of company policy.
