Could Leslie Knope's life get any better? After a recent engagement, the Parks and Recreation City Councilwoman will soon have run-in with her top crush: Vice President Joe Biden!
The Nov. 15 episode will feature Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) taking his fiancée Leslie (Amy Poehler to the White House to meet one half of her dream man. (Leslie once mentioned her ideal partner has "the brains of George Clooney in the body of Joe Biden. Sorry, Ben!)

From Parks and Rec to Homeland: Find out President Obama's Favorite TV Shows

The news comes just after Biden was re-elected on Tuesday, and the post-election reveal is no coincidence. "It was all very byzantine and complicated," executive producer Michael Schur told The New York Times, which first reported the news. "There seem to be all kinds of specific rules, which I never fully understood. But we decided to err on the side of caution."One of these rules included a warming that if Biden's cameo leaked before Election Day, Parks and Rec would have to feature Republican vice presidential hopeful Paul Ryan in a similar fashion. At the time, the request confused Shur, since the episode was shot in July before Ryan was announced as the Republican nominee.

Biden's cameo, on the other hand, was a snap. "The vice president was amazing," Schur said. "He improvised a couple of things that we ended up using."Biden also has nothing but praise for the NBC sitcom. "My whole family loves Parks and Recreation and I had a great time filming that scene," he said in a statement. "It was a real honor that in my sitcom debut I got to meet someone like Leslie Knope, who believes so deeply in public service. She's an example for men and women across the country that there's no higher calling than helping other people. On a personal note, I'll never figure out how Leslie Knope got my home phone number, but that really just shows how committed she is."Watch mash-up of Leslie's love-struck mentions of Biden below.
