Joan Rivers is known for speaking her mind, but she may have taken things a bit too far in her recent comments about Adele.

TV Scorecard: What's renewed? What's canceled?

First, during an appearance on The Late Showin February, Rivers told David Letterman Adele's single should have been called "Rollin' in the Deep Fried Chicken," and gestured with her arms to indicate the singer's wide stature.

Then, in an interview last week with HuffPost Live, Rivers reiterated her statement and said that Adele — who gave birth to a son last October — had demanded an apology after Rivers' Late Show appearance.

"I took an ad out on her ass," Rivers quipped. "I said, 'You are not fat,' and then I had room for a lot of other ads."
