Hours after Jimmy Fallon officially got tapped as the (eventual) successor to the Tonight Show throne, his future late-night competition had something to say about it.

When rumors began about Fallon taking over Jay Leno's spot next year, many outlets speculated that NBC wanted a younger host in the 11:35/10:35c spot to battle the younger-skewing Kimmel, who just moved to that timeslot from midnight at the beginning of the year. Fortunately, it seems, Jimmy has no hard feelings.
Now the waiting game begins to see what (if anything) longtime Leno rival David Letterman and ousted Tonight Show host Conan O'Brien will have to say about NBC's announcement.
