In a sketch that was disturbingly close to reality, Jimmy Kimmel decided to help Hillary Clinton with the power of mansplaining.

On Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host asked the presidential candidate to recite her stump speech so that he could offer her advice on it - but only after Kimmel gave Clinton's outfit a thorough critique.

"Is that what you're going to wear to do this?" Kimmel asked. "I think maybe something a little more fun next time, but not too fun. Serious, but not too serious. You want to be stylish without looking like you're trying to be stylish. And also presidential."

Clinton decided to carry on in the outfit she had on, but Kimmel's mansplaining only got hilariously worse once her speech actually began. That is, until things got painfully real.

"You know, Jimmy, your comments are kind of contradictory," Clinton said, after a series of insulting suggestions from the host. "It's like nothing I do is right."

"Exactly, you're not doing it right," Kimmel jokingly agreed. "I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something, you're not..."

"A man?" Clinton asked.

"Exactly. That is it. You're not a man," Kimmel said. "But that was really cute, the way you did it though."

Yeesh. Talk about hitting a little close to home. Watch the entire sketch below.
