In her debut, McCarthy and her co-host Sherri Shepherd demonstrated twerking and (in a previously-recorded segment), Shepherd took McCarthy on a tour of New York City, introducing her to celebrities including Donald Trump and Matthew Broderick.
Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg, McCarthy's real-life beau, was the first guest on the show. "Jenny slipped her phone number to me after [I was a guest on] her show and I didn't call her," Wahlberg admitted.
But the two eventually connected and started dating around Fourth of July, according to Wahlberg. "She's a wonderful woman," he said. "We have a lot in common."
