VIDEO: Jennifer Esposito Announces She's Engaged

Jennifer Esposito is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Louis Dowler, the actress confirmed on Katie Couric's daytime talk show Thursday.

"He's lovely," said Esposito, who sported her engagement ring on the show. Dowler helps run her gluten-free bakery, Jennifer's Way, located in New York.

On Katie, Esposito also talked about her struggle with Celiac disease, an auto-immune disease that inhibits the digestion of gluten and causes malnutrition, among other problems. "I was searching for so long for answers and when you take gastric problems, back aches, sinus problems, a panic attack — a doctor, understandably, is trying to put that in a puzzle and make that make sense," she said.

The Blue Bloodsalum was previously married to Bradley Cooper in 2006 and engaged to Australian tennis player Mark Philippoussis in 2009. Esposito will next star in the NBC series Taxi Brooklyn, which premieres in June.
