Jennifer Aniston: No Relationship Lasts Forever

Did John Mayer get this memo? Though she's happily dating the Grammy-winning singer, Jennifer Aniston says no relationship lasts forever — and she's OK with that.
"I don't have [a perfect relationship], and I don't think it exists. We are just fooling ourselves if we think it does," Aniston tells Britain's Daily Mail. "Whoever said that every relationship has to last forever?"
Still, this doesn't mean she thinks all romance should go out the window. "It's a shame that people stop being romantic out of laziness," she says. "And communication is vital."
The actress divorced Brad Pitt in 2005 and reveals she never dreamt of walking down the aisle or having kids — despite past declarations that she will have children one day. Instead, Aniston has "always gone with the flow."
"Life is what it is," she says. "I don't think we have any idea about what the future holds for us. ... So I just try to live in the present."
Aniston, 40, says she feels very good. "I would say that this the best moment of my life," she says. "I've never felt better physically or professionally. I am a very lucky woman."
