Jay Leno Takes Over Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show Monologue

After Jimmy Fallon "pulled a hammy" during Tuesday's Tonight Show monologue, he tagged in former host Jay Leno to take over the opening jokes.

After the deafening applause winded down, Leno launching into jokes about the presidential election and the economy. And while Fallon has been killing it on The Tonight Show, Leno's old school comedy was a nice change of pace.

"The economy's so bad, in New York on Park Ave today I saw a woman with real breasts and a fake Gucci purse," Leno joked. "It is so bad even the Kardashians are losing their a--"

But not to be left out, Fallon tried his hand at the bit, adding, "The economy is so bad, 50 Cent just changed his name to Nickelback. The economy is so bad Hillary Clinton wants people to look through her deleted emails to see if there are any from that Nigerian Prince."

Leno, who previously did a guest monologue last November, was there to promote his new CNBC show Jay Leno's Garage.
