Suicide Squad director David Ayer has released the first official photo of star Jared Leto in full Joker makeup!
The photo suggests what's sure to be a wild new take on the famed villain.

Also starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie, Suicide Squad follows a group of supervillains hired by the government to carry out a mission, that if accomplished, would give them a clean slate. The catch? The mission is considered a suicide mission.

Suicide Squad is currently set to open in August 2016.
