Jane the Virgin's Justin Baldoni Welcomes Adorable Baby Girl

Jane the Virginstar Justin Baldoni and his wife Emily welcomed a baby girl, Us Weeklyreports. Maiya Grace Baldoni, the couple's first child, was born on Saturday in the couple's home.

"The birth of our little Maiya was the most beautiful and spiritual experience we have ever had," the couple told the magazine. "Having her at home in our bed and being able to sing and pray as she entered this world while holding her in the quiet of our home is something we will cherish forever. Our hearts are exploding with love... 'In the world of existence there is no more powerful magnet than the magnet of love. - 'Abdu'l-Bahá.'"

Coincidentally, Baldoni's character on Jane the Virgin just became a dad in the CW show's season finale. As the actor told TVGuide.com in May, he can't wait to experience fatherhood both on- and off-screen.

"I can't wait to dig into it," Baldoni said. "Here's Rafael who's never taken care of anybody but himself, being tasked with taking care of Jane and taking care of a baby. So that is an incredibly new experience for him and I'll be experiencing it in real life too. The difference is I'll be more prepared. Hopefully next year I'll get a chance to do all the things I shouldn't do in real life, which was similar to this year with Jane and my wife Emily."
