James Lipton is best known for interviewing Hollywood's biggest names on Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio, but the 86-year-old is returning to acting on Netflix's much anticipated Arrested Development in May, reprising his role as Warden Stefan Gentles.

"I'm coming up pretty soon in one of the most talked about series in the history of television," Lipton tells TV Guide Magazine (he appeared briefly in the network's sizzle reel during January 2013's Television Critics Association Tour). "I'm back on Arrested Development — just brace yourself."

Lipton recently guest starred on ABC's Suburgatory, but is not often seen on screen as an actor. So why did he decide to make a rare character appearance? "I began as an actor so I love acting," says the Actors Studio creator/executive producer. "I went out to California for a week and already shot the show — I absolutely love it!"

But does he love the new wave of streaming series such as Netflix's original House of Cards? "I don't like watching movies at home," Lipton admits. "But I like watching television at my leisure, one episode at a time, which is the way it's always been done. We'll see. The world will see."
