Although they may no longer be on the wings of love, The Bachelor exes Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will be appear together on-camera at least one more time.

Two days after announcing their split, the former couple will be interviewed on ABC, a network rep says. No specifics have been released on when the interview will take place or when it'll air.

The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi split

News of the interview was first reported by E! Online.

Mike Fleiss, a longtime producer on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, said he was caught off-guard by the couple's split just three months after they became engaged on the reality show.

The Bachelor's terrible track record: A history of failed romances

"It is painful," Fleiss said Wednesday in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. "We've been on a roll lately with a bunch of happy couples in succession. Mr. and Mrs. Jason Mesnick, Ed [Swiderski] and Jillian [Harris], Ali [Fedotowsky] and ???... Strong relationships are even emerging from Bachelor Pad. This break-up caught me totally by surprise. I really feel bad for Jake and Vienna."

After their break-up went public, Pavelka told TMZ he was "saddened," but said he and Girardi would always remain friends. Girardi wrote on her Twitter late Tuesday, "Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it is better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together."
