Iron Chef Champ Accepts Impossible Mission

Food Network has announced that Michael Symon, winner of the 2007 edition of The Next Iron Chef, will step in as the new host of Dinner: Impossible, replacing Robert Irvine (who vacated the position amid the revelation that he had cooked up some tall tales on his resume).Symon this week will begin taping 10 episodes to air this summer in a new one-hour format. His first challenge: To get Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards to sit down for a quiet four-course meal. — MWM
