Steve Schirripa knows a thing or two about extracting an eye for an eye, having played Bobby Baccalieri on The Sopranos. Now he's the host of Karma's a B*tch! — a new series for Investigation Discovery that looks at tales of revenge.
Karma's a B*tch! will chronicle real stories of scorned spouses and upset exes who devised plots in order to get back at someone who did them wrong. The show premieres Thursday, May 2, at 10/9c. The network will air an initial order of six episodes.
In the series premiere, stories include a woman who looks to shame her cheating husband by putting their house for sale via a sign that reads, "Husband Left Us For A 22-Year-Old. House For Sale, Adulterers Need Not Apply." Later in the episode, a woman discovers that her boyfriend is cheating with two other women — one of whom is his wife. The three of them lure the man into a hotel room — and their revenge involves his private parts with nail glue.
A second episode (airing at 10:30/9:30c) focuses on one story: Seemona Sumasar is jailed after her rapist ex-boyfriend sets her up. She's finally released when the man's new girlfriend reveals his plot; now Sumasar is suing authorities for not investigating the case properly.
To promote Karma, Investigation Discovery enlisted Schirripa to put together a "Goomba's Guide to Revenge," in this clip below.
