After American Idol judges Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson mocked an effeminate contestant last week — "Wear a dress," the Brit chuckled — the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation understandably took the Fox hit to task. Now, the Associated Press reports, GLAAD has begun what it hopes "will be a productive, ongoing conversation about the show's representation and discussion of sexual orientation and gender expression." In other words, Ryan Seacrest? Fair game. Anybody else? Not so much.
