Tune In Tonight: NBC's Hurricane Sandy Telethon

Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi and other stars will come together for a one-hour telethon Friday to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The event, dubbed Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, will be hosted by Matt Lauer and will air live on NBC at 8/7c. The telethon will also be live-streamed on NBC.com and will be broadcast across NBCUniversal's network and cable channels, including Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, NSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA. (The telethon will be tape-delayed on the West Coast.)
As of Friday afternoon, thousands of residents in New York and New Jersey were still without power, and hundreds had been left homeless. The storm, which is estimated to cost about $50 billion, according to one consulting firm's report, also killed dozens of people in several states.

NBC plans star-studded benefit for victims of Hurricane Sandy

Other stars scheduled to attend the benefit include New Yorkers Tina Fey, Kevin Bacon, James Gandolfini, Jon Stewart and Jimmy Fallon.All proceeds collected will go to the American Red Cross.
